The queue is waiting. Till & Stack gets the right card on screen in two taps, without needing the internet.
A big, clear barcode
Barcodes always show black on white, at full size, with the screen turned up to full brightness while the card is open. Your phone stays awake until you close it.
If the scanner still won’t read it, show the number in large text so the cashier can type it in.
Points and reminders
Type in your points balance when you check it, and see when you last updated it. Add an expiry date and the app can remind you a week before.
We never log in to your retailer accounts, and we never ask for your retailer passwords.
Private by design
- No account needed. Your cards are kept in an encrypted database on your phone.
- If you choose to back up or sync, your cards are encrypted on your phone first (end-to-end). Our servers only store data we can’t read.
- No ads, no ad trackers, and we don’t sell your data.

Know what you’ve got before it expires
Till & Stack doesn’t connect to retailer systems, so you type the balance in yourself. It takes a few seconds, and the app keeps a short history.
Set an expiry date and turn on a reminder. The reminder runs on your phone.

We never hold your crypto. Ever.
We are working on Stack, an optional extra that will be switched off unless you turn it on. It isn’t available yet, and it will only launch after a legal review. The card wallet doesn’t need it and works the same without it.
- Cashback on some online purchases made through partner links. Rewards are counted in rand and paid out by licensed partners, either as rand or as bitcoin or ether into your own account with that partner.
- A savings tracker where you note what you saved at the till, with a link to your own exchange app if you want to do something with it. We don’t suggest what to buy or how much.
- Pay-with-crypto hints that show which shops accept crypto payments, with links to the payment apps.
Stack will be for people aged 18 and older. Partner names, fees and payout rules will be shown before you sign up.
Bit Primitive never holds your crypto. We never hold, convert or send crypto for you. Licensed partners do that in their own apps.

Till & Stack isn’t in the app stores yet. It will launch on Android first, in South Africa, and come to iPhone on the App Store after that. There is no store listing yet, so please don’t trust links or downloads that claim to be us.
